The initial deployment phase will enable users to request rides exclusively via the Waymo mobile application. Following the service expansion, Waymo's autonomous vehicles will be integrated into the Lyft platform, providing riders with access through the ride-hailing app.
Under the partnership agreement, Lyft will manage comprehensive fleet operations including:
