Apple iPhone 17e: Budget-Friendly Flagship Set for Early 2026 Release
Apple is preparing to launch the iPhone 17e, with a release expected in the first half of 2026. According to rumors, pricing will start at approximately $499.
Despite being positioned as a budget option, the device will only be "budget" in terms of pricing. The smartphone is expected to feature:
• 6.1-inch OLED display with 60Hz refresh rate
• Dynamic Island technology
• New Apple A19 chip — the same processor found in the base iPhone 17 model
Previously, such premium features were reserved exclusively for higher-tier models. At this price point, the iPhone 17e promises to be the most powerful iPhone without the traditional performance compromises typically seen in budget offerings.
