Animated Profile Pictures
The newly introduced animated profile picture functionality applies dynamic motion effects to static images, enabling subjects to appear waving, forming heart shapes, or wearing virtual party accessories. For optimal results, the platform recommends utilizing high-quality images featuring a single individual facing the camera. Users can source photos directly from their device's camera roll or leverage existing platform content. Facebook has committed to expanding animation options throughout the year.
AI-Powered Restyle Tool
Facebook is augmenting its Stories functionality—ephemeral photo and video content with a 24-hour lifecycle—and Memories feature, which resurfaces historical posts from previous years, with "Restyle", an AI-powered tool leveraging Meta AI to reimagine user-uploaded imagery.
Upon uploading content to Stories or selecting a Memory for sharing, users can activate Restyle and either input text-based prompts or select from predefined aesthetic themes, including:

• Glowy
• Ethereal
Additional customization options enable adjustments to mood parameters, lighting conditions, color palettes, and background replacements such as beach scenes or urban landscapes.
Animated Text Post Backgrounds
